When you cannot logon to the admin console the domain is down as well.
Basically you have 2 options
Option 1 is having a dba change the password back to the original pwd and start the Informatica services on the server
Option 2 is changing the password Informatica is using to connect to the domain db.
Go to the INFA_HOME/isp/bin directory and run following command:
infasetup.sh updategatewaynode -dp <new password> (for UNIX)
infasetup.bat updategatewaynode -dp <new password> (for WINDOWS)
Please also check KB 368031
Please provide your catalina.out file over here.
If DB password is changed at DB server, then you need to update the same at Informatica node as well using updategatewaynode command for Informatica services to run.
Please refer steps given in the below KB article to update the new domain and repository database passwords:
Did you update Domain db password or RS DB password?
If it is Domain DB, then you can either change the DB password back to the original password and try starting up the services.
Update DB details in Nodemeta.xml using infasetup.sh updategatewaynode command
Sorry for less information. I had to reset the password for Domain as well as model repository DB.
I was able to do the domain password through Nodemetadata.xml and Model repository password through admin console. I did restart the gateway.
Now you have no issue even with server restart ? Please update here if any issue still exists.
