    Real-Time CDC on-premise to cloud

    Omar Shan New Member

I have managed to setup a CDC Source connection with the help of on-premise PowerExchange and connected it to an SQL Server DB hosted on Azure using a mapping task (The mapping task has a mapping within it with the transformations from Source to Target).
The mapping task seems to finish the task and terminates, which is totally normal. Is there any way to keep the mapping task up and running continuously, so that any changes occur to the source (PowerExchange) causes the mapping task to be executed on real-time?

            Hi Omar Shan,

On IICS Data Integration service, there is no option to run the job continuously for now. To achieve your requirement, you need to use the Database Mass Ingestion service, Where you have the option to run the job in 3 different ways.

            1. Initial Load ( Which captures everything from source to target)

            2. Incremental Load (Job runs continuously and captures any new changes happening at source side)

            3. Initial and Incremental Load ( Does initial load and then job runs continuously and captures any new changes happening at source side)

For Database Mass Ingestion you need a different license for which you need to talk to your sales presentative.

            Regards,
