Are you importing from a mainframe source?
If so, does the mainframe .RUNLIB(DBMOVER) have this setting:
If so, your login probably lacks READ permission to access the source, or lacks UPDATE permission for the PWX "DTLLOG" DD or PWX "DATAMAP" DD.
Thx for your reply.
I try with and without "SECURITY=(2,N)" and I have the same problem.
For information, it's a migration 10.1 to 10.4.
Do you want see the dbmover.cfg?
I believe both the Power Exchange navigator and Power Center Designer are on the same windows machine.
Navigator takes the location name from the dbmover.cfg file present in Power Exchange Home Location whereas Power Center Designer will take the location name from he dbmover.cfg file present in Power Exchange Home Location/bin32 location.
So please check if both the dbmover.cfg is having correct NODE name that is pointing to the listener and you are using that node name in the Location parameter in designer.
Thx for your repply. I have the same dbmover.cfg in the 2 locations.
And when I try to connect in PWC I see in detail.log :

I don't understand why PWX don't list datamap...
Have you created a datamap at that PWX Listener?
I think the extraction maps have been created with different node names/IP. If the registration and extraction map are created in the listener node and your dbmover.cfg pointing to the same listener node, you should be able to see the list on the designer screen.
I guess it's time now to open a technical case with Informatica Support to verify the details. Maybe share the config files and navigator screenshot where you are able to see the extraction maps.
Yes, I have created a datamap at that PWX Listener, I see the dmx files in CDC_EXTRACTION_MAP directory.
Normally, there would be no PWX DataMaps for Oracle.
There would be Capture Registrations and Extraction Maps.
What are you trying to do?
Yes I use Extraction Maps.
And It works in PWX 10.1 with the same configuration.
Have you migrated the registration/extraction maps from 10.1 to 10.4, If not I would suggest running DTLURDMO utility to migrate the working registration/extraction maps from 10.1 to 10.4 Listener. and then check power exchnage home/bin32/dbmover.cfg is pointing to the correct listener IP of 10.4. Then Retry.
Thx Bibek for your help.
For other people, its a bug PWX 10.4.
You need to apply EBF 01 to fix the issue.
