Thanks for the post.
It's actually Wesley, Takeo-Konrad is my last name.
The post does describe the issue but the resolution is a problem. It says:
but the instructions as listed in the training material never list the use of the link:
So I am not sure where I am suppose to replace it.
When I made the connection to WSConsumer using:
Which from what I see do not reference a version of soap.
Hi Wesley, apologies for the mistake.
I am not able to access to the WSDL, but you would need to download it locally and amend it, as per the below KB (maybe easier to follow) and then loaded from your disk.
Hi Again Andrea,
Thank you for the response.
I don't believe I have that kind of access that would be needed to follow the instructions in the KB article.
I am just learning IICS
I am trying to follow lab instructions from Informatica University.
These instructions seem beyond someone who is trying to learn an Informatica product based on an Informatica Training course.
I did reach out to Informatica University first and they sent me here.
1> can you pls post the screen print of the connection?
2> also look at the tomcat.log and see if there is more detailed error
I tried the same and seeing below error in tomcat.log
2021-04-13 15:57:25,465 PDT ERROR [com.informatica.saas.toolkit.metadataRead.xresources.PluginsXResource] - Exception Thrown in Operation: getOperationList
com.informatica.cloud.api.adapter.metadata.MetadataReadException: WSDL: The soapAction attribute is missing or empty. It is required when soapActionRequired is set to true.
I have modified the wsdl and it's working, pls try with this wsdl.
Note that this is a 3rd party api and not owned by Informatica, apparently it has changed recently.
wsdl-numberconversion.xml 4.6 KB
Thanks for the response.
Please remember I am following instructions in an Informatica university course. I don't see where your instructions to change the wsdl are in the lab and therefore don't understand what you are suggesting I change.
Can I ask that your instructions are more explicit and are within the context of the lab as linked in the original post?
Hi Again Nitin,
Thanks for the response.
So if I understand you correctly, I am to put the file wsdl-numberconversion.xml into the folder that holds my flat files (which according to the lab is c:\IICSLabFiles) and then change the connection properties for the WSDL URL: so that it matches the downloaded file?
Ok, using your xml file, I went through the rest of the lab.
When I tried running the mapping, I did not achieve success. The error was:
[ERROR] Fatal runtime error occured : [com.sun.xml.ws.client.ClientTransportException: The server sent HTTP status code 301: Moved Permanently]
I am not sure if this is related to the XML you provided.
