I have a requirement for data integration of Oracle data in Premise with Microsoft CRM Dynamics on Cloud.
Currently I have Power Center, Power Exchange Connector For MSDynamics as Informatica products.
What would we need ? or would it just matter of configuring the connector attributes to access the CRM on cloud.
Would somebody know why the document "PowerExchange for Microsoft Dynamics CRM User Guide for PowerCenter"
under Understanding PowerExchange for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Overview says
"You can use PowerExchange for Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract data from or load data to Dynamics 365 Sales."
Why the words Dynamics 365 Sales ?
Right above it also says
"You can use PowerExchange for Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract from and load to the on-premise, Internet-facing, or online deployment of Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
First of all your PowerCenter server(s) and your environment which hosts the client-tools need to have access to the cloud environment so very likely ports in firewall(s) must be opened.
Second you need an account to be able to connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM for importing sources/targets and for the connections which will be used at runtime.
When you have the above in place you will be able to create mappings/sessions/workflows to perform the data integration process.
