Can you check the Convert the exported mappings to Powercenter mapplets and Convert Target mapplets and try once again?
Let me know if the xml file is generated.
I tried this option, but it is not working. The .XML file is not generating.
Can you check the C:\Informatica\10.1.1\clients\DeveloperClient\workspace\.metadata\.log file for any error messages at the time you try the export.
Do other mapplets export ok?
If you have not tried others, I'd suggest creating a very simple input -> Expression Tx -> output mapplet and confirm if it exports ok to determine if it's a general issue or specific to the mapplet you are exporting.
I have tried with simple mapplet created having only expression transformation in IDQ Developer tool. And tried to export and it is not generating the XML file for Powercenter. Below is the message from the log.
!ENTRY com.informatica.tools.storage.remote 1 0 2020-08-24 17:04:03.122

It tried to export and after some time nothing was happened and no XML file generated.
Thanks in advance.
As there are no obvious errors in the log and the test with a simple mapplet fails, it suggests the issue is with your Developer client.
- Is this the first time you've tried exporting a mapplet to Powercenter?
- Can you export your mapplet using the regular export functionality i.e select Informatica metadata file when exporting.
- Is the Developer client installed on your own PC or do you connect via Citrix etc?
Thanks for the update. I am able to export now as I was choosing Powercenter option instead of Export Object Metadata file.
If you are looking to use the IDQ mapping in Powercenter, then the option to be selected is Powercenter when exporting the mapping. Please refer to the following guide: Export to PowerCenter Overview
Since the Developer Tool does not have any logs, please view the Progress Tab on the Developer Tool (T enable Progress View, go to Window > Show View > Progress).
If the export of the mapping fails due to any errors, the export command will fail and will be shown in the Progress Tab with a log file named as "Errors Encountered".
You can resolve the errors as mentioned and then try to export again.
