600 rows is not much, but that's not all. Another important point is how many attributes of what data types this tables has. Also, what profiling contents did you ask for?
The more details you ask, the more the server has to calculate, cross-reference, and so on.
But yes, several hours indeed looks strange for such a small data set.
Could you please simply close the browser and start a new browser session in order to check for the RUNNING state? Sometimes a browser simply "hangs" and doesn't refresh.

It's basically data and column profiling we are going with...it's basic discovery work and very few attributes exactly 6 columns in the table.
Browser refresh did not solve and tried to abort in the monitor screen...even that did not help.
6 attributes in 600 rows? Assuming that these six attributes are no strings of 50 MB each, that really is not big.
I'm out of ideas for now. Please open a service request with Informatica Global Customer Support (GCS) to have this investigated, to me this looks as if you may have encountered some yet unknown bug (but then I'm not at all a TDM expert, so I might well be wrong).
