I had encountered the same issue recently.
Informatica Support has identified this issue as MITI limitation and has raised a CR EIC-42014 to fix this .
It will be fixed in upcoming version of EDC.
I am getting connection successful message, but as I try to save the new resource It is not getting saved, instead it goes into buffer. After some time the connection times out, and I am unable to save any resource. Any idea why is this happening? This screen remains like this until connection times out.
