as mentioned in the other thread, Windows 10 is not supported.
Try to perform a Tomcat cleanup as mentioned in the other thread.
I haven't installed any tomcat software in my Windows 10 machine.
Initially, I faced issue with installation of informatica server. But after setting global variable as below I was able to install informatica server.
Is there any pre requisite I am missing to install informatica server in Windows 10 ?
No. Windows 10 is simply not supported for installing Informatica server software.
You may install the client tools on Windows 10, but not any server software. It's that easy.
Trying to do so is nothing but a game of throwing the dice. And most people are not lucky in trying this. Even if the installation seems to work, you can usually place a bet on that the server installation won't work after the next reboot.
Windows 10 is not supported for server installation.
You better use a virtual machine (e.g. under VMWare or VirtualBox) running some supported operating system for the server installation. Everything else is a waste of time and effort in my experience.
In order to find out which operating systems and DBMS versions are supported for Informatica server installation, please consult the so-called Product Availability Matrices (PAMs), a link can be found near the top of the Informatica Network home page.
Again, trying to install the server on Windows 10 is in my experience a waste of time.
Just for the sake of a complete answer: you DO have a Tomcat installation on your laptop. The Informatica platform installation (which includes PowerCenter) is based on a Tomcat / Apache installation which is automatically set up as part of the software installation. You simply don't see it in most cases, but it is there.
even that the OS is not supported you might be able to get it to work in firefox.
Just curious what you ended up doing?
