unfortunately there is no way to get the current user's locale or even the current user inside of the validation script. I actually thought about a multi-language result for the scripts but this is not yet available.
Please note that the result of the validation is also persisted as DQ status result which makes this quite a bit more complex.
A workaround would probably be to return the error message in multiple languages but in one message so the users can read it. How many different languages do you have for those error messages?
thanks a lot for your reply. In the short term we will have two GUI languages, in the long term this could be more.
I will implement your work around solution with two languages in one message and am looking forward to the potential long term solution you mentioned.
