Also it might help to move this question from the PowerCenter forum to the Informatica Platform forum; after all you don't have a problem in PowerCenter but with other products.
I think the point pavan123 is trying to make is that you need to use the connection property "AuthenticationMethod" in the jdbc url to get the expected behaviour. For more info, refer to the vendor's documentation => Progress DataDirect for JDBC for SQL Server: Version 6.0.0.
