Address Validator transformation itself is used to standardize the data. It compared the incoming data with the details present in the reference files and adds information that does not appear in the standard address.
You can use Address validation just before the transformation where you want complete standardized address. Rest depends on your business logic.
Gist of AV Transformation:
When you perform address validation, the Address Validator transformation compares each input record to the address reference data. If the transformation finds the input address in the address reference data, the transformation can update the record with the correct and complete address data. If you purchased additional reference data sets, the transformation can also enrich the address data.
Standardizing even further the AV Tx output would only be based on your use-case, if you can let us know more on it.
In General If I will say, Address doctor has its own format of the address output, Address doctor returns the data in standard ports depends on the template that you will use for output.
For Example: if you are using the DAL output then complete DAL information in delivery address lines and the renaming country specific locality line elements in country specific locality lines and the recipient info in recipient ports.
You can directly match the output ports with the next transformation or can also standardized the address as per your requirements.
We do not have any sequence to transformation use the address doctor but you could use any of transformation as per your design logic.
