I have the same issue. This is totally broken and I can't even create a new Task with a new schedule. Nor can I edit any existing Task's schedule section. This is beyond frustrating.
I tried this and it works fine for me ( creating a new task and editing an existing task both worked) please consider below points
>> Use IICS in Incognito more always
>>I see that the task name and task operation fields have nothing in it due to which you are getting the null error
I am not sure if those fields are not getting populated when you are editing an existing task or those where removed manually?
>> Please try to edit another DSS task and schedule it also create a new DSS and try to schedule it
let us know your observations
It might be that the user doesn't have Edit permissions please check user permissions once.
Please check this KB: 539618
It's an existing task, so the task and operations field are filled in. When it spit me into that screen the are blanked out.
Tested the following scenarios and getting the same issue.
- Create a task through the wizard, try add a schedule and click "Finish". Error pops up.
- Edit a task and try to add a schedule and click "Finish". Error pops up.
- Edit a task, create a new Schedule and click "Finish". Error pops up.
- Verified permissions of the new schedule user, added permissions for Admin. Edit task, add schedule and click "Finish". Error pops up.
That doesn't look good, can you please confirm your POD, when I am trying its working fine may this is a pod specific issue but the interesting thing is that none of the customers have reported this.
Let's try this, Copy an existing DSS to another folder or project and perform the test and let us know how it goes?
Note: Use copy option don't use Move
I've tried coping the DSS to another folder, even the default and the same result in error.
How do I make this an official case with Informatica Support, this is going on way too long and I need a resolution. There is not clear way to make this a support case.
Having the same issue. I have an open case #02486929.
Bug report IF-19028 has been opened for this issue.
Issue was resolved by Informatica, The "Data Synchronization-Advanced Options" license was missing and needed to be added.
