KB 158429 very likely gives you the directions to check in order to be able to solve the issue.
- Network issue
- Slower response time from Database
- High load on the DB (for some DB maintenance activity)
- High GC pause time in the node process
- High load on the node where Master gateway is running
- NFS file system issues

We managed to solve it with the variable set to 30.
Thanks the same
We thought we managed to solve it, but we didn't.
But I'm thinking the problem is the setting of the open cursors, we couldn't set it to 4000, we have it set at 1500. Can be this the problem?
Yes, I've seen other sites where this was the root cause of trouble.
Is your issue already resolved?
In the node log there are also DTF_0022 error codes which indicate at DNS issue or a hosts file issue.
Thanks, the issue is now solved, it was a known problem on the DB side.
When I try to ping the host that has the error I have no problem (it is a single node so I'm pinging the hostname of localhost).
I don't understand why I'm getting the DTF_0022 .
I'm facing a similar issue. What variable did you changed to 30?
I fear that (as this thread is three years old) the original poster might not be available any longer.
Maybe the MasterDBRefreshInterval (default: 8) is what was meant, please see here:
Regards and good luck,
