Moving to ICRT
Please find the latest API doc here: IICS REST API Reference - Winter 2019
What is the use case of "PUT"?
Is 2 way ssl authentication is supported in Informatica Cloud Real Time for what type of use case? Which application is asking for 2-way SSL? Please elaborate.
What kind of authentication processes are supported if there are any more on ICRT. Answer is your first point.
Thank you for the response.
1) The use case for "PUT" is to update the existing records. I understand that Cloud process designer (IPD) supports only Get and Post. However, Process developer Rest API services, support PUT, but has poor documentation to install .
Hi Dharani ,
Do you just want to invoke an API that needs you to invoke the PUT operation ?
If so , the process designer absolutely supports it . You will just choose the operation you want to call in service connector.
It's only when you are exposing API's , that it only exposes GET and POST .
I am invoking an API , so the API's are exposed.
I am sorry , it';s still not clear to me .
If you are calling an external system that needs you to do PUT operation then service connector supports it . This is where you are consuming an API.
If CAI is exposing a WS where a client wants to send a PUT then you need to do with process developer.
Thank You for the reply.
Sorry, I am not calling an external System. An external system is making a callout to Informatica API.
External System -- > Informatica
Hi Dharani ,
In that case , you would need to stand up a BPEL process using the Process Developer as a wrapper to receive teh PUT request .
