    JDBC for PowerCenter 9.6

    New Member

I am using PowerExchange to extract changes from Oracle Databases and am using PowerCenter to write data to Informix as well as to Oracle target database.

I am using native ODBC driver for Oracle and 32 bit ODBC driver in PowerCenter to write the data to target databases. However I am facing some performance problems in terms of write throughput.

Can I use JDBC instead of ODBC drivers within PowerCenter to connect to oracle and Informix target databases? If so please share any documentation around it which can help me configure the same.

Informatica application server is running on Solaris 10 and target databases are also Solaris.

      Any help if much appreciated.
