          Joe,

The variable should be defined with a single '$' for the source file name to be read from the parameter file. So change the variable from '$$INPUT_FILENAME' to '$INPUT_FILENAME'.

Also check the permission on the parameter file to make sure the Informatica user has the required access to read the file contents.

              Joe,

The case for the workflow name is different. In the parameter file, it is defined as

              [sales.WF:WF_PARAM_PXY_TEST.ST:WF_PARAM_PXY_TEST]

Is it the same in the workflow manager too?

Also your workflow and session have the same name? Is that how you have named them in the workflow manager?

                [sales.WF:WF_PARAM_PXY_TEST.ST:s_param_m_pxy_test]

i tried this too.I still get an error.

                  For a start, try this:

                  1. Change your parameter file to be:

                  [sales.s_param_m_pxy_test]

                  $INPUT_FILENAME=TEST1.FLUENT.E.PXY.txt

Now include this parameter file name (along with the full path) at the session level and start the session. This will be a good starting point to figure out the issue.

Also make sure the case is the same in the parameter file entries and the actual objects.

                      Joe,

The variable in the parameter should also have the '$ sign. So your parameter file entry should be like this:

                      [Sales.ST:s_param_m_pxy_test1]

                      $INPUT_FILENAME=TEST.txt

Can you try with this change and let me know the results?

                      - Vivek

                          1. What is the name of parameter file?

                          2. What is path of parameter file?

                          4. What is your workflow name?

                          5. What is your session name?

                          6. What is your parameter name?

                          7. What is the content of parameter file?

                          8. Take an extract of the workflow using repository manager and attach that.

Use proper case (upper and lower) when you are answering the questions.

I hope somebody could be able to help you to resolve it if you answer above mentioned questions.
