Rules and guidelines for Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse V2 mappings

Consider the following rules and guidelines for Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse V2 objects used as sources, targets, and lookups in mappings:

Query source type

When you configure an SQL query, consider the following rules:

Multiple source type

When you configure a multiple source type in a transformation, consider the following rules:

Snowflake targets that receive duplicate values for primary keys from source records

When you perform an update or delete operation to Snowflake, and if the records from the source tables contain duplicate primary keys, you must perform one of the following tasks:

Create target

When you configure the Create New at Runtime option in a mapping to write to Snowflake, consider the following rules:

Update override

When you configure an update override in a mapping to write to Snowflake, consider the following rules:

Allow parameter to be overridden at runtime

When you parameterize the source, lookup, or target objects and connections and enable the Allow parameter to be overridden at run time option in a transformation, you cannot override the object name using the fully qualified name such as db.schema.tablename.
