Creating a Synchronization Task for Fixed Width File Type (Source)

You need to create a File List connection before you create the synchronization task.
Perform the following tasks to create a synchronization task:
    1. In Data Integration, click New > Tasks.
    2. Select Synchronization Tasks, and click Create.
    The Definition tab appears.
    The following image shows the Definition page:
    3. Specify the Task Name for the required task.
    4. Provide a Description for the required task.
    5. Select Insert as task operation.
    6. Click Next. The Source tab appears. The following image shows the Source page:
    7. Select the File List connection as Connection.
    8. Select Single as Source Type.
    9. Select Source Object for the task.
    10. Click Next.
    The Target tab appears.
    The following image shows the Target page:
    11. Select the target connection and Target Object required for the task.
    12. Click Next. In Data Filters tab by default, Process All Rows is selected.
    The following image shows the Data Filters page:
    13. Click Next. In Field Mapping tab, map source fields to target fields accordingly.
    The following image shows the Field Mapping page:
    14. Click Next. The Schedule tab appears where you can schedule the task for each requirement and save.
    15. Click Save and then Finish.
    16. From the Explore page, select the task, and click Actions > Run.
    In Monitor, you can monitor the status of the logs after you run the task.
