IICS should be sourcing *CND* files from PWX Listener on LUW.
So when you talk about SOMAXCONN and PWXSOMAXCONN I'm confused, as those are z/OS settings, and IICS shouldn't be talking directly to a PWX Listener on z.
And PWXCCL doesn't exist on z/OS.
So the PWX Listener/Logger server is a remote server running Linux Red Hat. This where the CND files are kept and where we made the change to the SOMAXCONN value and PWXSOMAXCONN value.
IICS is running on a different AWS cloud server on Windows I believe. That server accesses the PWX Logger/Listener server to read the CND files.
In the PWX documentation is says the PWXSOMAXCOMM parameter is for all operating systems.
OK, I sit corrected. I have only seen them in respect to z/OS, but the doc agrees with you.
The max number of concurrent tasks is governed by MAXTASKS in DBMOVER.CFG.
You can look at the Active Tasks count in detail.log (or DTLLST1.*.log if using TRACING) to see how many there are, and if it is near what you have configured for MAXTASKS.
