we have installed Informatica IDQ 10.1 since six years and last year we have changed our external supplier for the AM of the tool and to support us on running activities.
We have recently find out that we have not stored Informatica Repositories passwords, so we have the connection enabled in the Administrator but we do not know those passwords (screenshot attached).
Is there a way to recover Informatica Model Repository password?
There is no recovery method inside of the Informatica tool set. The password would have to come from the DBA's. If the DBA's do not have this you would have to reset at the DB level and update the connections in the Informatica admin.
