this could be because of missing registry entry for the drivers when you installed the agent. the user with which you installed agent may not have permissions for the same.
to confirm this please check the below
1. Open regedit as administrator.
2. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\ODBC Drivers
3. look for 'DataDirect CLOSED 8.0 Oracle Wire Protocol for Informatica - R36'
if this is missing i can help you with the next steps.
Thanks Nitin, I was not able to see those drivers. So I just uninstalled and re-installed the agent and it worked for me.
