    service name error for Model Repository Database

      Hello All,

       

      I am trying to install Informatica 10.4.1.

      But I am getting service name error for 'Model Repository Database'

      Details as follows =

      OS: CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core)
      Informatica version: 10.4.1
      DB: Postgresql 11.11
      Install method: CLI based
      Error details:

      Model Repository Database - Step 9A of 16

          * 1->Enter the JDBC URL.

            2->Enter the JDBC connect string.

      (Default: 1):1

      Database address (default:- 127.0.0.1:5432):

      Database service name (default:- model_repository_service):

      Do you want to configure JDBC parameters?

            1->Yes

          * 2->No

      (Default: 2):1

      JDBC parameters: JDBC parameters:jdbc:model_repository_Service:postgresql://127.0.0.1:5432;DatabaseName=model_repository_service;ServiceName=model_repository_service

      Error:

       

      I tried changing JDBC parameters as well.
      Same issue.
      I tried to list the DB's in postgresql using psql.
      I can see the DB's =

      I tried creating Model_Repository_Service in case sensitive format & without to make sure it's not an issue with the case but same issue.

       

      Following PPT sats postgresql 10.6 is supported/certified in Informatica 10.4.0
      Does that mean, other higher versions may not be compatible?
