    IICS October 2021 Major Release Calendar

    ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS

    October 10 - IICS US West 3/US East 4/AP SouthEast 1 (7 AM - 10 AM PT) & US West 3 Azure and EM West 1 (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM PT)

    Issue: Tasks using Snowflake V2 connector with SQL override failing with error: Operation failed: error [error [An error occured while executing custom query:[SQL compilation error: Object 'XYZ' does not exist or not authorized.]]].

     

    Solution:

    From October major release sqloverride is honored over custom sql during metadata fetch and it is expected to have a fully qualified name for sqloverride.

    Issue: CAI console page error : "You don't have sufficient privilege to access the service".

     

    Solution: Some users are noticing the above error when accessing CAI. The issue can be resolved by clearing your browser's Cache and Cookies. We are tracking this issue as ICAI-26815 and expect a fix to be rolled out as a rolling patch in the next few days or earlier.

    Please use the workaround if you notice this issue by clearing the cache/cookies or using a private/incognito browser window.

     

     

    ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS

    October 3 - IICS NA West 1/US East 2 (7 AM - 10 AM PT) & US West 1 Azure and AP NorthEast 1 Azure (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM PT)

    Issue: Jobs fail with error: Internal error. An error occurred while loading the Secure Agent group or stuck in running state post October 2021 release.

     

    Solution: This issue has been reported via POP-13896 and we are working on the same. For now, users can try stopping the taskflow and try running tasks individually if the above error is seen or jobs stuck in hung state. This issue is fixed.

    Issue: Tasks using Snowflake V2 connector failing with error: Operation failed: error [error [An unexpected exception occurred while fetching metadata:[Failed to validate the data object because the entry [***] already exists in the collection [null]. Provide a unique name for the entry.]]].

     

    Solution: This has been identified as a defect and a fix is being worked upon. This issue is fixed.

    Issue: CAI process with SAP BAPI integration failing with error: org.activebpel.rt.AeException: java.lang.NullPointerException

     

    Solution: This has been identified as a defect and a fix is being worked upon.

    Workaround: Roll back the upgraded Saxon library. Please contact GCS for steps.

    Issue: Azure Synapse ODBC PDO not working after upgrade

     

    Solution: This has been identified as a defect and a fix is being worked upon. This issue is fixed.
