    Are you facing issues after the IICS Spring 2020 upgrade? We are here to help. We have identified some of the common issues encountered by users and pulled together a list of solutions to help you address them. Read on to know more.

    At the bottom of this post, we have a running list of known issues for the Spring 2020 upgrade and their solutions. We will continue to update this list so check back later for more updates.     What's New in IICS Spring 2020 Release

    IICS Runtime Continuity FAQ

    Issue: Old services show up in the "Stopped" state in the UI.

    Solution: This is the expected behavior. The old services will get cleaned up within a period of 48 hours from the upgrade completion time, from the UI.

    Issue: Agent keeps goes down after upgrade with error "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread". Error seen in agentcore.log or CPU memory consumption spiked on the machine after Spring 2020 upgrade.

    Issue: Oracle/SQL Server tasks failing with error "CMN_1022 [ Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126: The specified module could not be found. (DataDirect CLOSED 8.0 Oracle Wire Protocol for Informatica - R33, agent.install.dir\drivers\odbc\datadirect\r33\dwora28.dll)

    - This issue is being caused due to the Registry not being updated. This can happen due to permission restrictions on the Agent machine preventing the Registry update needed during the upgrade.

    Issue: Test connection for Sharepoint failed with error "java.lang.RuntimeException: Expected status OK, found Unauthorized. Server response: 401 UNAUTHORIZED."

    Issue: Mapping invalid with error: "Lookup date format is invalid. Date format must specify setting(Fixed or Adjust), Precision and the Date format e.g. "A 30 MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS.US"

    Issue: ODBC tasks fail with error "Incorrect syntax near '<keyword>'." after Spring 2020 upgrade.

    Issue: Snowflake v1 connection tasks fail with the error "Operation failed: Saved query field XXX is missing metadata.." after Spring 2020 upgrade.

    Issue: MySql connection tasks fail with the error "[com.informatica.saas.dtm.executor.impl.ProcessStreamReader] - Fatal: can't read lock OpenSSL lock.." after Spring 2020 upgrade.

    Issue: Tasks running on Windows 2008 agent fail with the error: [ERROR] com.informatica.powercenter.sdk.SDKException: com.informatica.cloud.api.adapter.runtime.exception.InitializationException: Invalid expression string for filter condition.

    Solution: Windows Server 2008 is not a supported OS version for the agent. It is already out of support by Microsoft. Upgrade your agent machine Operating System to one of the supported OS versions defined in the PAM for Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
