    The following table lists some of the EBFs released recently for Enterprise Data Catalog:

    EBF-14880 has been verified and uploaded to FTP. Mandatory EBF for EDC 10.2.2 Service Pack 1.

    Instructions for Installation

    The EBF installer contains the following files: Input.properties and installEBF.sh

    It also contains the following folders: EBFs and Installer

    1. Shut down the domain.
    2. Download the installer with the appropriate fix for your platform.
    3. Extract the EBF installer.
    4. Edit the Input.Properties file and set DEST_DIR to the installation directory.
      For example: set DEST_DIR=/home/infauser/<version number>
    5. To install the EBF:
      Run ./installEBF.sh
    6. Start up the domain and all nodes.

    A log file is generated in the installation directory. An error log is generated in the same folder where the EBF installer is extracted with the file name EBF_<EBFID>_Error.log.

    For example EBF_EBF252831_Error.log

     

    Emergency fixes are not full installations. They only include updates to the files that are affected by the fix. It is strongly recommended to take a back up of your installation and repository before installing any fixes.
