Informatica Cloud Summer '19  Pre-Release Program

Version 41

Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Summer '19 Pre-Release Program

(Update: pre-release upgrade was July 9th)

What's new in IICS Summer 2019

The objective of the Informatica Cloud Intelligent Services (IICS) pre-release program is to provide our customers the ability to preview new functionality and test drive changes prior to any upcoming IICS release.

During the pre-release, our customers can access the IICS pre-release site for trying out and testing the new release.

System Requirements: You will need a dedicated server to host the secure agent for the pre-release org. This server must not be the same as the server hosting your production secure agent. We highly recommend that the pre-release server be as identical in configuration to the server hosting your production secure agent. We also recommend that you modify your tasks/connections to ensure you do not affect any production data.

Here are steps to follow to use the pre-release environment:

If you participated in pre-release for Winter '19 you can login to the pre-release environment at this link: Informatica Cloud

    1. If any of your pre-release org's licenses are expired please follow these steps:

          • Pre-Release ORG ID
          • Production ORG ID This corresponds to the ORG (dev/qa/prod) that you plan to validate with Summer '19 pre-release.
    2. Export any new or changed assets from production into pre-release that you may not already have, and want to test and point to test connections.
    3. The pre-release pod will be upgraded to the latest release on July 8 July 9 2019. The agent will also be upgraded to the latest release.
    4. Execute critical jobs (that were previously modified to point to test instances of application)
    5. Try new functionality
    6. Report issues, feedback, comments by creating a support case.
