How do I change JVM memory settings for the Agent?

    If you run a task in Informatica cloud and you get this errroe message: [ERROR] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space. Then you need to change the agent JVM memory settings.

     

     

    1. Login to your Informatica cloud account

       

       

    2. Click on Configuration > Secure Agents

    3. Click on the pencil icon next to the agent for which you wish to change the memory settings

    4. Scroll down to ‘System Configuration Details’ section and select ‘DTM’ from the ‘Type’ drop down list

    5. Click the pencil icon for the Property ‘JVMOption1

       

       

    6. Set value of property ‘JVMOption1’ to your desired max jvm memory for example: -Xmx512m

    7. Scroll down to ‘System Configuration Details’ section and select ‘Tomcat JRE’ from the ‘Type’ drop down list

    8. Click the pencil icon for the Property ‘INFA_MEMORY

       

       

    9. Change the value of property ‘INFA_MEMORY’ to your desired JVM memory settings, for example: -Xms256m -Xmx512m

    10. Click “OK” button on the top left corner of web page to save the changes

    11. The changes will trigger the agent to restart

    12. If not sure that the agent has restarted, restart the agent manually
