Getting Started with Informatica Cloud Winter 2013

Version 1

On Saturday November 10th, Informatica Cloud customers were upgraded to the Winter 2013 Release.

Here are a couple of issues we are aware of and are addressing:

Below are some of the new Winter 2013 features:

    New User Interface

    • Navigate efficiently through the new menu
    • Re-start failed jobs right from Activity Logs
    • Create re-usable views on Activity Logs to quickly filter down by task type, job status or any other custom criteria
    • Leverage the search options on Activity Logs to find the job you are looking for
    • Use ‘Save and Continue’ to save task definitions that you are working on without having to exit the interface
    • Use ‘Save and Run’ to launch task run with a single click
    • Conveniently access help, reach out to Informatica’s Global Customer Support or to Informatica Cloud User community from the right hand menu

    Enhanced Lookups

    • Use return values of lookups in expressions

Parameter File Support for Data Synchronization

    • Dynamically supply values to Data Synchronization task filter conditions and expressions through an external parameter file
    • This helps integrate external processes into Data Synchronization jobs dynamically

    NetSuite Connector Enhancement

    • NetSuite connector now supports multiple target objects (Parent and Child objects)

    Integration Templates Session Parameters

    • Compare session parameters (Partition size, Log file location etc) for Custom Integration Tasks
