Informatica MDM – Product 360 has been released to shipping and is available immediately.

This Release includes the following:

  • Assigning items to products and generating parent product
With this release, two new menu entries for items have been introduced to the Web UI to increase the efficiency when working with items. The Assign to product functionality allows to select items and choose a parent product for them all at once. The Generate product functionality allows the generation of a parent product based on one selected item.
  • Saved search queries enhancements
From this version onwards users can tailor field-based searches to their needs for a one-off adjustment. Users can change the comparators on the Web UI and choose the comparison logic of their choice, depending on the field, e.g. a "contains" search can be altered to a "begins with" search. Further on users can add or remove fields depending on how they want to fine-tune their search query. This includes the full flexibility to search across entities and using transition fields in the search.
  • Escalation process for workflow tasks
This product version introduces a simplified escalation process for workflow tasks on the task level. If the deadline or escalation date of a workflow task is met, all objects currently included in it will be directly assigned to the substitute/responsible person and the deadline/escalation date will be reset to keep the workflow task clean for the next incoming objects.
  • Upgrade of IDQ SDK
The embedded data quality rule engine has been updated to the current release of Informatica Data Quality 10.5 bringing the latest release of Informatica's leading data quality solution to Product 360.
  • Improved Audit Trail performance and stability
We have further optimized the Audit Trail data insertions specifically for simple imports with a smaller number of columns. The time taken by import with and without Audit Trail is almost similar now.
  • Service API improvements
A new possibility to request multiple objects with one single call has been introduced for the Object API, as well as the option to include the labels. The List API now allows filtering sub-entity records for field values.

In addition, several bug fixes were included in this release, please review the release notes for details.
