Today, Informatica introduces the latest evolution of its product information management application: Informatica MDM - Product 360 (Version 8.0.5)
Product 360 leverages the full power and capabilities of the Intelligent Data platform. MDM - Product 360 provides a unified user experience, built-in data quality engine, built-in Business Process Management, search and metadata, all inherited from the MDM architecture it's built on.
This allows Informatica customers to start smart and grow fast, making it easy to adapt to both market changes and the competitive landscape. Product 360 is one of Informatica's master data-fueled apps, together with Supplier 360 (Total Supplier Relationship, TSR) and Customer 360 it allows our customers to leverage the full power of Multidomain MDM with ready to use out of the box apps.

5 key innovations at a glance:
1. Synchronization Ready
The accelerator for 1WorldSync Item Management has been re-certified based on the Major Release 3 of GDSN. It is provided as an add-on to Product 360 and allows synchronization of product data with the “1WorldSync Item Management” data pool and now supports the “1WorldSync Data Sync Engine” data pool as well. Additionally, the food and beverages data model extension for Product 360 has been made generally available.
2. Media Ready
The Media Management component of the web UI has been reworked with enhanced capabilities and complete category management.
3. Collaboration Ready
Setting up workflows in Product 360 with Informatica BPM has been enhanced with more out of the box capabilities, robust exception handling and increased failsafe functionality.
4. Business User Ready
The Role- and Task-based user interfaces have been extended with new widgets to assure the most productive and efficient user experience while working on Product 360.
5. Enterprise Ready
The support of SAML 2.0 has been added for enterprise user authentication. Additionally, the standard set of functions has been enhanced to support Infrastructure as a Service deployment scenarios and the multi-server setup now allows a dynamic job and server role routing leading to major enhancements to performance and scalability.
