This release contains some bug fixes. This will be the last regularly-scheduled quarterly release for MDM 9.0.1. From June 2012, there will be quarterly releases for MDM 9.1 (Oracle), MDM 9.5 (Oracle) and MDM 9.0.2 (DB2).
This release is required for all customers running the DB2 version of Informatica MDM Multidomain Edition.
Informatica MDM Multidomain Edition 9.0.2 for DB2 includes the following:
Significant performance improvements for key MDM Services Integration Framework APIs (Put, CleansePut, Merge, Unmerge, Multimerge, SetRecordState) as well as for SearchMatch API calls using common names. It also includes performance optimizations in the batch merge job and updated performance tuning guidelines.
Delete Management for removal of old records from the MDM Hub is now fully supported with the DB2 version of MDM.
Support for WebSphere 7: see the Product Availability Matrix (PAM) for this release for details.
This release is primarily a maintenance pack that contains a roll-up of Emergency Bug Fixes (EBFs) as well as a few additional bug fixes.
The release does introduce a new match type called DBFILTERED for the searchMatch API call. This option increases performance for fuzzy searches based on nonselective search terms that include exact match filters (e.g. NAME= ‘John’, DATE-OF-BIRTH= 1959-01-01)
