Informatica MDM – Customer 360 v10.4: MDM – Customer v10.4 delivers new functionality and enhancements that make it easier for data stewards and business users to fix, master, curate, and consume trusted customer data. These include:

 

  • MDM v10.4: This release of MDM - Customer 360 is inclusive of the full capabilities announced for MDM v10.4. 
  • Data Privacy Compliance - Consent Management: To help organizations comply with customer data privacy and protection laws and regulations, the MDM – Customer 360 data model has been extended to persist, manage, and master consent data at different levels. Organizations can use the consent management extension to create business entities related to consent management, such as privacy policy, privacy purpose, and processor information. 
  • Enhanced Report Creation and Out-of-the-box Charts: Out-of-the-box task management KPIs, the ability to create and drill down into new reports, and enhanced chart navigation capabilities on a data steward dashboard, provide greater visibility to key metrics for task management and workflows.
  • Enhanced installation capabilities: Upgrades to and installation of MDM – Customer 360 have been made easier through the addition of silent installers for a streamlined, hands-off installation process.

PAM: PAM for Informatica MDM Customer 360 10.4

Informatica introduces the latest evolution of the master-data fuelled application: Informatica MDM – Supplier 360 version 10.4.

 

MDM - Supplier 10.4 delivers new functionalities and enhancements that help buyers efficiently collaborate with suppliers and improve the ability to assess their compliance, performance, and risks.

 

In addition to the full capabilities of Multidomain 10.4, some of the innovations in Supplier 360 include:

 

  • Easy to Customize: Portal Configuration Tool

With the MDM Portal Configuration tool, it’s easy to customize the newly built supplier portal and to create custom portals based on business needs. Customers can use the tool to create or edit pages, control access to pages based on state management and roles, or add predefined components to the pages.

  • New Look and Feel for Supplier Portal

The Supplier Portal provides a new look and feel to suppliers who manage their master data and product-related information in the Supplier Portal. The Supplier Portal supports 8 languages and can be extended to any language.

  • Report Creation and Out-of-the-box Charts

Out-of-the-box task management KPIs and the ability to create new reports on a data steward dashboard, increase efficiency and improve stewardship through greater visibility to key metrics for task management and workflows.

  • Enhanced Workflow Capability

A new action named “Send Back” allows a manager during the approval process to send back the application to the supplier. The supplier can update the application and return it for approval.  In addition to this, a data steward can save changes in draft state.

  • Data Enrichment with D&B Integration and Out-of-the-box Widgets

Customers can enrich supplier data with Supplier Profile and Supplier Risk information provided Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) to manage the most reliable suppliers and protect their business against risk and prevent business disruption. With the out-of-the-box Supplier Risk Widget, customers can view the supplier risk ratings on the supplier dashboard.

Informatica Multidomain MDM 10.4 has been released to shipping and is available for download. 

 

The 10.4 release includes many new features and enhancements to deliver rich and tailored business user experience, modernized data stewardship, and simplified administration.

 

  • New Hierarchy Manager and Relationships Network: Modern user interface that allows you to configure, manage, and simplify the visualization of complex hierarchical relationships and network of relationships between data. 
  • Interactive Charts and Reports: Graphical representation of data though the Chart component that allows data stewards and business analysts to easily aggregate the data about business entities, view performance for processes, tasks,  and more. You will also have the ability to drill down into the details.
  • Intelligent Match Rules: Intelligent matching powered by CLAIRE® to help you set up match rules based on your data and achieve accurate match results.
  • Data Stewardship and Task Management at Scale: Ability to perform bulk updates with single click to help data stewards complete repetitive tasks with efficiency and high accuracy.Task actions to help task administrators efficiently manage and review large number of tasks with just a few clicks.
  • File Import and Match: Bulk data import powered by CLAIRE’s intelligent file structure discovery mechanism. You can now load and process external data with minimal effort. CLAIRE intelligently identifies and maps the source file fields to the best target business entity fields for a simplified data import. Data stewards can monitor import jobs, view the history of actions, and compare the records during the import.
  • Smart Search: Enhanced search experience through custom index settings and display of search filters in the order that is most useful for data stewards.
  • Adaptive User Experience: Ability to design your own custom pages and flexibility to make these pages appear as a permanent tab in the application to help manage and monitor master data your way. Better usability and rich user experience as icons and color-codes help you identify business entity records and relationships.

What are we announcing?

Adobe announces the end of life of Flash in December 2020.

 

The company has stated that they will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020 and encourage content creators to migrate any existing Flash content to other formats. As a result, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla announced the end of support for Flash in their browsers effective 31st of December 2020.

 

Where are Flash components used within MDM and what is the impact with this announcement?
