What are we announcing?

As of March 2016, the Informatica Data Quality Oil and Gas Accelerator is available.

 

This is the second release of the Accelerator which consists of 341 data quality rules specific to the Oil and Gas Industry as defined by the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association.

 

This version of the accelerator contains rules which validate attributes associated with the WELL entity and other entities as defined in the PPDM data model. A custom built reporting schema is also provided to record metrics across a variety of different dimensions related to data quality and the oil and gas industry.

 

Who would benefit from this release?

This release is for all customers and prospects who work in the Oil and Gas industry and benefits users working with Informatica Data Quality. This Informatica Data Quality Oil and Gas Accelerator applies to version 10.0.0

 

Why should you care?

This release offers significant benefits to our customers and prospects in the Oil and Gas industry by providing standard Data Quality rules for validating data specific to the Oil and Gas industry. The rules and reporting framework provided can be used to support or accelerate the early phases of Data Quality or Data Governance projects.

What are we announcing?

As of December 2015, all Informatica Data Quality Accelerators are available for Informatica Data Quality version 10.0.0.

This includes the following Accelerators:

  • IDQ Accelerator for Australia and New Zealand
  • IDQ Accelerator for Brazil
  • IDQ Accelerator for Financial Services
  • IDQ Accelerator for France
  • IDQ Accelerator for Germany
  • IDQ Accelerator for Portugal
  • IDQ Accelerator for Spain
  • IDQ Accelerator for United Kingdom
  • IDQ Accelerator for USA and Canada

Reference data for a number of Accelerators has been updated in this release. Reference tables and rules that made reference to DQ 9.0 have been renamed. rule_CAN_Address_Certification_Hybrid has been added to the USA and Canada Accelerator and supports SERP certified address validation.

 

Who would benefit from this release?

This release is for all customers and prospects and benefits all users working with Informatica Data Quality 10.0.0.

If you are using existing Accelerators on IDQ 10.0.0, you should update to this package to ensure latest functionality.

What are we announcing?

As of August 2015, the Informatica Data Quality Oil and Gas Accelerator is available.This is the first release of the Accelerator which consists of 125 data quality rules specific to the Oil and Gas Industry as defined by the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association.

This version of the accelerator contains rules which validate attributes associated with the WELL entity as defined in the PPDM data model.

This release is for all customers who work in the Oil and Gas industry and benefits users working with Informatica Data Quality. This Informatica Data Quality Oil and Gas Accelerator applies to version 9.6.1

 

This release offers significant benefits to our customers and prospects and sets the standard for data quality processing of common data quality issues and identification of many additional data domains.

What are we announcing?

As of July 2014, all Informatica Data Quality Accelerators are available for Informatica Data Quality version 9.6.1.

 

This includes the following Accelerators:

What are we announcing?

As of June 2014, Informatica Profiling Data Domain Accelerator is available. This is the first release of the Accelerator which consists of an extended set of pre-built data domain rules that can be used in Domain Discovery processes. It includes new rules for Account/Banking, Address and National ID data identification.

This release is for all customers and prospects and benefits all users working with Data Quality issues related to data in Spain. This Informatica Data Quality Accelerator applies to version 9.5.1 and above.

 

This release offers significant benefits to our customers and prospects and sets the standard for data quality processing of common data quality issues and identification of many additional data domains.

What are we announcing?

As of June 2014, Informatica Data Quality Accelerator for Spain is available. This is the first release of the Accelerator for Spain and consists of pre-built mappings, mapplets, rules and reference data built to solve common data quality problems associated to Spain.  Business name reference data, parse and validation rules, and cultural specific matching rules are available within this package.

This release is for all customers and prospects and benefits all users working with Data Quality issues related to data in Spain. This Informatica Data Quality Accelerator applies to version 9.5.1 and above.

What are we announcing?

 

Informatica Data Quality for SAP v9 is now available.

 

This is a follow-on package from the IDQ for SAP 8.6 package and has been updated to use AddressDoctor for all address validation scenarios and Informatica Platform 9 for all data processing.

 

The IDQ for SAP package includes sample Data Quality Mappings, PowerCenter mappings and SAP transports. The IDQ for SAP package has the following product dependencies:


  • Informatica Data Quality
  • Informatica PowerCenter
  • Address Data Subscriptions for AV scenarios

 

Informatica Data Quality for SAP has been certified with SAP on SAP ECC6 EPh4. Certification details are available here: http://goo.gl/hdzrf

 

Certified Scenarios :

 

  • Realtime Address Validation: Validate whether the given address is correct using reference address data
  • Realtime Duplicate Check: Retrieve records similar to a given name and address to avoid entering duplicates into the system
  • Error Tolerant (Fuzzy) Search: Perform a search using incomplete or partially incorrect information
  • Quarterly Adjustment: Execute a batch job to ensure addresses in the SAP system are valid and up to date
