What are we announcing?

As of February 2015, Informatica Profiling Data Domain Accelerator is available.

This updated release of the Accelerator which consists of an extended set of pre-built data domain rules that can be used in Domain Discovery processes. It includes new rules for Account/Banking, Address and National ID data identification

 

All reference data for Accelerators has been updated in this release.

 

Who would benefit from this release?

This release is for all customers and prospects and benefits all users working with Informatica Advanced Profiling features in 9.6.1.

If you are using existing Accelerators on 9.6.1, you should update to this package to ensure latest functionality.

What are we announcing?

As of February 2015, all Informatica Data Quality Accelerators are available for Informatica Data Quality version 9.6.1.

This includes the following Accelerators:

  • IDQ Accelerator for Australia and New Zealand
  • IDQ Accelerator for Brazil
  • IDQ Accelerator for Financial Services
  • IDQ Accelerator for France
  • IDQ Accelerator for Germany
  • IDQ Accelerator for Portugal
  • IDQ Accelerator for Spain
  • IDQ Accelerator for United Kingdom
  • IDQ Accelerator for USA and Canada

All reference data for Accelerators has been updated in this release. Empty reference tables have been dropped as they did not contain any data and/or were not applicable to the locale – this does not impact rule executions.

As of August 2014, Informatica Profiling Data Domain Accelerator is available. This is the first release of the Accelerator which consists of an extended set of pre-built data domain rules that can be used in Domain Discovery processes. It includes new rules for Account/Banking, Address and National ID data identification.

This release is for all customers and prospects and benefits all users working with Data Domain Discovery. This Informatica Profiling Data Domain Accelerator applies to version 9.6.1

 

How does it benefit you?

This release offers significant benefits to our customers and prospects and sets the standard for data quality processing of common data quality issues and identification of many additional data domains.

Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) 8.6.2 is available now (as of Feb 1, 2009). Following are the some of the key features of the release:

  • Identity Matching Enhancements
  • Global AV components enhancements
  • Coverage for over 230 countries
  • US and Canada country packs
  • Number of bug fixes
  • Integration with PowerCenter 8.6.1

 

Please check for the latest hotfix availability and make sure to install on top of IDQ 8.6.2. For more details on the new features and bug fixes in this release refer to the documents in product documentation center.

DQ 8.6.1 contains the following new features and functionality:

  1. Identity Matching Components. Data Quality provides 4 new components that perform matching operations on data associated with identities of people and organizations:
    • Identity Group Target
    • CSV Identity Group Source
    • DB Identity Group Source
    • Identity Match
  2. Sum Component. The Sum component calculates sums for the numeric values in input columns. This component classifies numeric values as positive, negative, invalid, or filtered, and provides count and sum totals for each of these classes. The Sum components outputs can be used with either the Report Target or the DB Report Target.
  3. GAV. Increased country coverage: Argentina, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, India, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Turkey.
  4. Silent Content Installer. The silent content installer provides the ability to run the content installer as part of batch jobs and cron jobs. This functionality can be used to update content files automatically at specified intervals.
  5. Real-time Matching Plans. The Content Starter Pack includes new plans that support real-time matching operations for Web Service applications. These plans support single row Web Service-type transactions using the same rules as the main country pack matching plans.
  6. UK, Australian and Indian Dictionaries. The Content Starter Pack includes new person and company name dictionaries for the UK and new Australian and Indian dictionaries.
