Data Archive might have archived data to the Informatica Data Vault incorrectly if you used one of the following versions of Data Archive: Data Archive 6.1 HotFix 1 with Emergency Bug Fix (EBF) 13054 or EBF 13117

  • Data Archive 6.1 HotFix 1 with EBF 13054 or EBF 13117
  • Data Archive 6.2
  • Data Archive 6.2 with EBF 14081

If you used one of the affected versions, Data Archive might have truncated data with the Integer, Decimal, Varchar, or Char data types.

Please see the attached document for more details.

If you used one of the following versions of Data Archive to archive to the Informatica Data Vault, Data Archive might have archived tables with LOB data incorrectly.

  • Data Archive 6.2 HotFix 1 with Emergency Bug Fix (EBF) 14075, EBF 14105, or EBF 14389
  • Data Archive 6.2 HotFix 2

The issue occurs when you archive tables containing links to LOB data to the Data Vault. Data Archive might associate the link to the LOB data with the wrong row in the table. You do not see an error message because the archive job does not fail. However, the data that you access in the Data Vault might be incorrect.

To resolve the issue, you must apply an EBF, unregister and drop the affected tables from the metadata, and archive the affected tables back into the Data Vault.

Please see the attached document for more details.
