My association with Informatica started back in 2003 when I first started using the Informatica tool as a replacement for a lengthy PL/SQL procedures designed to perform the ETL tasks and the conversion was an instant success. Over the years, Informatica has been shaped up pretty well aligning with the current market trends and has now been emerged as a market leader in Data Integration software.

 

Personally I feel Informatica’s MySupport portal is truly the best support portal offered by a Data Integration Software Company. Support portal homepage was very well organized and is divided into different sections to facilitate the users to navigate quickly without much of an effort. Some of the sections where I visit the most are:

 

    • Discussions
    • Velocity
    • KB Section
    • Product Documents
    • Best Practices/Implementation

 

I am happy to be part of the Informatica MySupport online community and it has been a pleasure to interact with fellow community members in terms of sharing the knowledge and participating in technical discussions.

 

I take this opportunity to congratulate Informatica for providing an informative and feature rich support portal where it benefits both novice and experts in gaining the knowledge and sharpen their skills. The support website is truly a worldwide effort and yet without Informatica’s desire and hard work to make it a reality, it would have never happened.

I have been actively using the My Support portal since last year and to say my experience has been good.

At InfoCepts I have been working on Informatica platform products like PowerCenter, DataServices, Informatica cloud and many others.

 

During this period, not only, I have shared my knowledge, but also gained knowledge interacting with the experts in the line.

 

I still feel and I know that I have a long way to go to become an "Overall Expert" in Informatica.
